**Job Title:** Ecommerce Site Merchandiser and Developer
**Role Summary:**
Drive online sales and conversion through strategic site merchandising, content planning, and data‑driven optimization on e‑commerce platforms. Develop, customize, and maintain the digital storefront, ensuring accurate product presentation, seamless navigation, and alignment with global e‑commerce goals.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable performance improvements via analytics and A/B testing.
- Present weekly/monthly insights and actionable recommendations to cross‑functional teams.
- Coordinate product launches, pricing, and promotions across multiple digital channels.
- Maintain high data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in product content and pricing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and report on site performance using Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, and other tools.
- Build and customize online store on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (and other platforms) – design navigation, filters, recommendations, and promotional tools.
- Implement visual merchandising strategies: product placement, layout, and navigation to boost sales.
- Manage product assortment, uploads, and launch calendar; coordinate with buying, planning, and warehouse teams.
- Oversee pricing, markdowns, and online price books; communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B tests, CRO initiatives, and AI feature trials to optimize conversion.
- Collaborate with digital marketing, content, customer service, and external dev teams to resolve site issues and deploy new features.
- Stay updated on emerging e‑commerce technologies and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient in e‑commerce platforms: Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce.
- Basic web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
- Strong data analysis, reporting, and Excel skills.
- Problem‑solving, debugging, and delegation to third‑party developers.
- Clear communication across technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Detail‑oriented with high accuracy for content and pricing.
- Creative visual sense for engaging online experiences.
- A/B testing, CRO, and UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaboration tools.
- Experience with analytics tools: GA4, Hotjar, Clarity, Salesforce Commerce Cloud analytics.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications in Google Analytics, e‑commerce platform training (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento), or related data analytics tools preferred.
