Job title: Internship – Data Visualization & Analytics Consultant
Role Summary:
Assist in the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines and interactive dashboards for business units (finance, marketing, HR, sales, supply chain). Work across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Fabric) and data‑prep tools (Dataiku, dbt, Alteryx) to ingest, cleanse, and transform data, then build visual analytics with Qlik Cloud, Tableau Next, Power BI, and AI‑enhanced tools (Copilot, Qlik Predict).
Expectations:
Deliver end‑to‑end analytics solutions, support client adoption and testing, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, continuously learn and apply emerging data technologies, and produce clear documentation and polished dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather user requirements and define functional/technical specifications.
- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using dbt, Dataiku, or Alteryx.
- Prepare and transform data in cloud data warehouses.
- Build and optimize dashboards and analytical applications in Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Integrate predictive insights and AI assistance (Copilot, Qlik Predict).
- Conduct user acceptance testing and refine deliverables.
- Support go‑live activities and post‑deployment support.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation.
- Understanding of data‑visualization best practices and dashboard design.
- Experience with at least one visualization tool (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Fabric).
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work collaboratively.
- Fluent in English; written and verbal communication.
- Participation in coding‑game assessments during hiring.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Engineer degree or dual diploma in computer science, data science, analytics, or related field.
- Coursework or experience in data analytics, cloud services, and data engineering.
- Certifications in relevant tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau Desktop, Power BI) are a plus but not mandatory.
