**Job Title:**
Business Analyst – Regulatory Reporting
**Role Summary:**
The Business Analyst will design, develop and maintain regulatory reporting solutions for banking entities, focusing on compliance with AnaCredit, FINREP, and COREP frameworks. This role bridges finance, risk, IT, and compliance functions to ensure accurate, timely, and auditable reporting that meets evolving European regulatory standards.
**Expectations:**
- Lead data analysis and requirement definition for regulatory reporting.
- Translate regulatory changes into clear functional specifications.
- Ensure data integrity, completeness, and consistency across systems.
- Deliver high‑quality report production, oversee anomaly resolution, and support continued regulatory compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Requirements Definition & Analysis**
- Gather and challenge business needs for AnaCredit, FINREP, and COREP reporting.
- Convert EBA, BCE, CSSF, ACPR, and other regulatory updates into functional requirements.
2. **Data Management & Quality Assurance**
- Identify necessary data sources (loans, deposits, securities, accounting, prudential data).
- Align and automate data flows between accounting, risk, and regulatory systems.
- Implement quality controls for completeness, accuracy, and consistency of data.
3. **Regulatory Reporting Production & Follow‑Up**
- Manage the production cycle for recurring regulatory reports.
- Monitor regulatory anomalies, coordinate resolutions, and update documentation (Data Dictionary, procedures, manuals).
4. **Project & Cross‑Functional Coordination**
- Support compliance projects driven by CRR3, Basel IV, and new ITS releases.
- Act as liaison between Finance, Risk, IT, and Compliance teams.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate technical deliverables.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of AnaCredit, FINREP, COREP, and European regulatory standards (EBA ITS, CRR/CRD).
- Strong analytical and data mapping abilities; proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, and Power BI.
- Experience with regulatory reporting tools (e.g., AxiomSL, OneSumX, BearingPoint Abacus) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project methodologies: Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s (Bac+5) degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Applied Mathematics, or Management Information Systems.
- 3–7 years of experience in banking regulatory reporting or a specialized EBA/BCE Business Analysis role.
