Job Description

**Job Title:** Care Assistant **Role Summary:** Support individuals with personal and domestic care to maintain quality of life in a residential setting. **Expectations:** Work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), adhere to health and safety protocols, and follow the Gold Standards Framework. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, washing, feeding, manual handling/hoisting). - Perform domestic duties (cleaning, laundry). - Promote client dignity and privacy. - Maintain accurate client records through brief written documentation. - Comply with infection control and manual handling safety requirements. **Required Skills:** - Compassionate, empathetic demeanor. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Shift flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred. - Valid First Aid and Manual Handling certifications. - Working knowledge of infection control protocols.
