Job Description
**Job Title** Network Systems Technician **Role Summary** Provide technical support and administration for a medium‑size IT environment, covering user workstation setup, network, servers, Microsoft 365, security, and asset management. **Expectations** - Minimum 2 years in a similar role (multi‑skill technician or system administrator). - Self‑directed, excellent communication, strong service orientation. - Ability to manage priorities, maintain documentation, and handle change management. - Comfortable with technical English. **Key Responsibilities** - Deliver level 1/2 user support (workstations, printers, software, network). - Install, configure, and maintain desktop PCs, peripherals, and applications. - Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures. - Assist in the administration of Windows and Linux servers, LAN, VPN, firewalls, and NAS devices. - Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint). - Enforce data and access security (backups, antivirus, MFA, GPO, rights management). - Manage IT assets: inventory, renewal, licensing. - Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. **Required Skills** - Proficient with Windows (desktop & server) and Linux environments. - Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN). - Experience in user support, incident resolution, and ticketing systems. - Basic cybersecurity practices: antivirus, firewalls, MFA. - Familiarity with supervision, backup, and ticketing tools. - Technical English reading/writing. **Required Education & Certifications** - Formal IT training (bachelor’s or equivalent, e.g., Bac Pro, Licence). - 2 + years relevant experience. - Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or CCNA are advantageous but not mandatory.
