Job Description
Human Resources Business Partner Role Summary: Strategic HR partner supporting departments and senior leadership to align people management with organizational goals, drive HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. Expectations: Demonstrate expert HR business partnering experience in complex organizations, proven employee relations expertise, and strong project leadership to deliver results-aligned outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Advise on employee relations, organizational change, recruitment, workforce planning, and policy development. - Lead HR projects aligned with corporate priorities, ensuring timely delivery. - Collaborate with senior managers to integrate People Strategy into business planning. - Coach managers on performance, leadership, and employee engagement practices. - Maintain union relations through consultation and negotiation. - Develop HR reports and recommendations for management and employee forums. - Ensure compliance with employment legislation and promote best practices. - Identify and implement HR service improvements. Required Skills: - CIPD qualification or equivalent, with extensive HR business partnering experience in large organizations. - Strong employee relations and organizational development capabilities. - In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. - Experience working in local government or healthcare sectors preferred. - Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder relationship-building skills. - Ability to manage HR projects and meet deadlines. - Strategic leadership combined with practical HR execution. Required Education & Certifications: CIPD or equivalent HR certification; advanced degree in HR or business-related field.
