Job Description

Job Title: Software Development Placement (Internship) Role Summary: Junior developer undertaking a placement‑based degree or related experience. Work under guidance of senior engineers, focusing on small independent tasks within support and BAU projects, while building proficiency in .NET development and related technologies. Expectations: - Deliver clean, efficient, testable code under mentorship. - Commit to professional growth through peer reviews, training, and progressive responsibility. - Demonstrate ownership, reliability, and proactive problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities: - Write and maintain .NET code (C#, .NET libraries). - Develop and support SQL databases and data flows. - Build web and app applications using modern stack (HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript). - Participate in code reviews and debugging of existing systems. - Deploy simple web architectures and manage releases via GIT. - Assist in task estimation, documentation, and project tracking. - Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement. Required Skills: - Practical experience with C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or PHP. - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, SCSS, RESTful API concepts. - Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computing principles. - Proficiency with GIT version control. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Eagerness to learn new languages and technologies. Required Education & Certifications: - Current student pursuing a degree or related coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent. - No specific certifications required but knowledge of .NET development fundamentals preferred.
