Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Quantitative Analyst **Role Summary:** Support the retail hedging team by developing, maintaining, and enhancing quantitative models and data pipelines to improve client P&L attribution, classification, and overall business profitability. Provide actionable analytics and communicate insights to senior leadership. **Expectations:** - Apply quantitative and programming expertise to real‑time trading and hedging analysis. - Deliver accurate, scalable models and data solutions that drive commercial outcomes. - Translate complex data findings for audiences with varying technical backgrounds. **Key Responsibilities:** - Refine and scale client P&L attribution models. - Enhance client classification models to boost profitability. - Build and maintain data pipelines for classification, trading‑cost analytics, and related datasets. - Develop analytics and models to evaluate and improve hedging performance. - Analyze client trading behavior, identify trends, and generate actionable reports. - Define and monitor key metrics for trading and hedging performance. - Present analytical results and recommendations to senior leaders. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures/functions). - Strong Python skills (pandas, numpy; preferably experience with additional libraries). - Solid analytical ability with a commercial mindset. - Understanding of financial markets, especially futures, derivatives, and options. - Effective communication of data insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering). - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or projects in quantitative finance, machine learning, or data science are advantageous.
