**Job Title:** Group Financial Controller
**Role Summary:**
Strategic partner to the Group Administrator and General Management, responsible for shaping and driving the financial, operational, and sustainability performance of a multi‑site industrial group. Provides accurate, actionable analysis to support investment decisions, cost optimization, and long‑term planning while establishing robust performance‑management tools and processes.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable, timely financial insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.
- Build and maintain a transparent performance‑measurement framework across all sites and production lines.
- Lead the creation of a new controlling function, establishing methods, KPIs, and reporting standards.
- Foster strong collaboration with site managers and non‑financial teams, ensuring data‑driven decision making.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze production costs, margins, and profitability by activity, site, and line; identify improvement opportunities.
- Define, implement, and monitor industrial KPIs (productivity, yield, efficiency, loss rates, unit costs).
- Participate in annual budget preparation, periodic forecasts, and medium‑term planning including capital‑expenditure projects.
- Produce monthly management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis versus budget/forecast; diagnose root causes and recommend corrective action plans.
- Evaluate financial feasibility of CAPEX, capacity allocation, and development projects; prioritize investments.
- Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes, tools, and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Maintain regular on‑site presence to understand operational realities and provide coaching to non‑financial staff.
**Required Skills:**
- Expert in analytical and industrial cost controlling; strong grasp of KPI design and monitoring.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficient with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to analyze budgets, margins, cash flow, inventories, and CAPEX.
- High attention to detail, rigor, and data integrity.
- Strong analytical, structuring, and synthesis capabilities; proactive and critical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex data clearly to non‑financial audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, creation‑of‑function environment; strong stakeholder management.
- Languages: Fluent French; professional English (minimum B2).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control, Auditing, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of management‑control experience in an industrial, multi‑site setting.
