Job title: AI Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and scale AI‑driven systems to deliver intelligent features within a manufacturing SaaS platform. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to transform data into actionable AI solutions that improve manufacturing workflows. Expectations: Demonstrate ownership and independence while contributing to a fast‑paced, scaling tech environment. Apply advanced LLM techniques, produce production‑ready code, and continuously iterate on AI features. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance core AI functionalities, focusing on LLM‑based models for manufacturing processes. - Prototype, test, and ship high‑quality, well‑tested code for new AI features. - Optimize AI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability in a production environment. - Collaborate through Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews) to align on goals and deliverables. - Maintain code quality via version control (GitHub) and automated testing frameworks. - Document AI architecture, model decisions, and integration points for maintainability. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and their industrial application. - Proficiency in TypeScript and modern web/micro‑service development. - Strong problem‑solving ability and a resourceful mindset for tackling complex AI challenges. - Experienced with GitHub workflows, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, automated‑tested code. - Passion for emerging technologies and proactive learning. - Independent work ethic with a “make it happen” attitude.
