Job Description

**Job Title:** ServiceNow Developer **Role Summary:** Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions with a focus on Security Operations (SecOps) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Must hold or be eligible for Secret security clearance. Contract = 6 months (potential extension), hybrid work with occasional office attendance. **Expactations:** - Deliver high‑quality technical solutions on schedule. - Conduct integration and component testing. - Collaborate with internal and external subject‑matter experts. - Follow ServiceNow best practices and security standards. - Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and scripts. - Implement and enhance SecOps and GRC modules (e.g., Vulnerability Response, Policy & Compliance). - Develop REST/SOAP integrations and perform unit/integration testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents/defects in production environments. - Produce technical documentation, test plans, and release notes. - Liaise with SMEs to gather requirements and validate solutions. - Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and organizational policies. **Required Skills:** - Proven ServiceNow development experience (JavaScript, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client/Server scripting). - In‑depth knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps and GRC suites. - Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP). - Ability to write and execute component integration tests. - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ITIL processes. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (mandatory). - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SecOps or GRC (preferred). - Secret security clearance **or** eligibility to obtain it.
