Job title: Technical Program Manager
Role Summary:
Lead cross‑functional program management for the end‑to‑end delivery of a DNA data storage platform. Own the global product delivery plan, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and align execution with corporate strategy.
Expectations:
- Deliver complex hardware, software, and biotech projects on schedule and within scope.
- Maintain 360° program visibility to executive stakeholders and drive decisive action on bottlenecks.
- Demonstrate structured, analytical, and communicative leadership in a fast‑moving innovation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously update the global Product Delivery Plan; ensure synchronization of milestones, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and technical leads to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and plan hiring or outsourcing.
- Identify operational blockers, devise containment/mitigation strategies, and elevate conflicts to leadership.
- Track program health using dashboards, Gantt charts, KPI reporting, and status meetings; recommend and implement continuous improvements.
- Communicate transparently across executive, product, and technical audiences.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years program‑management experience in high‑tech, innovation‑heavy settings (hardware, biotech, embedded software).
- Strong technical foundation across mechanics, fluidics, biotech, AI/algorithms, IT, middleware, databases, automation, cloud services, system integration, and validation.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet), data‑driven decision making, and KPI monitoring.
- High‑level communication, stakeholder influence, diplomatic decision making, and structured problem solving.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related technical field.
- Certified Program Management Professional (PfMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
