Job Description
Job title: HR Officer Role Summary: Implement and enforce group‑level personnel policy, manage payroll and personnel administration for Belgian and French subsidiaries, maintain compliance with Belgian and international social legislation, and serve as primary HR point of contact in a multi‑national context. Expectations: • Master’s level understanding of HRM (degree or equivalent experience) • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR responsibility • Strong analytical and data reporting skills • Proactive, independent, and results‑oriented execution Key Responsibilities: - Develop cohesive personnel policy in collaboration with central management. - Translate legislative changes into organization‑specific processes and enforce them. - Administer payroll, leave, contracts, and personnel files for Belgian and French entities; coordinate with other group companies. - Serve as employee contact point, addressing inquiries and providing HR guidance. - Produce HR metrics and management reports; analyze data for decision support. - Drive continuous improvement of HR procedures and compliance standards. - Operate effectively across international teams, anticipating challenges and proposing solutions. Required Skills: - Expertise in Belgian social legislation; knowledge of international HR law advantageous. - Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis. - Bilingual Dutch/English; functional French, German, or Italian preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to design, implement and monitor HR processes. - Discrete, pragmatic, solution‑oriented, and self‑directed. - Familiarity with a software‑centric work environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or comparable educational background/experience.
