**Job Title:**
Senior Blockchain Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and scale the backend infrastructure that connects a wallet platform to multiple blockchain networks. Focus on developing blockchain indexers, data pipelines, smart contracts, and on‑chain data APIs to enhance performance, security, and reliability for high‑volume financial use cases.
**Expactations:**
- Own end‑to‑end development of blockchain‑specific services.
- Deliver secure, high‑throughput indexers and smart contracts for both public and private chains.
- Drive technical strategy, tooling, and best practices for blockchain integration across the organization.
- Act as a technical bridge between engineering, product, and research teams, ensuring timely and secure feature delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement scalable blockchain indexers and data ingestion pipelines.
- Develop, audit, and maintain Solidity/Move/eWASM and other smart contracts with emphasis on security and performance.
- Build and expose REST/GraphQL APIs that provide on‑chain data for wallets and fintech applications.
- Diagnose and resolve indexing bottlenecks, reliability, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with product and research to prioritize network integrations and feature requirements.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows, monitoring, and observability for blockchain services.
- Produce clear documentation, knowledge‑share materials, and support technical discussions with stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years software engineering, 2+ years in blockchain development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript; additional expertise in Rust, Go, or C++.
- Proven experience building blockchain indexers, explorers, or related tooling.
- Strong smart‑contract design, development, and auditing skills (EVM and/or non‑EVM).
- In‑depth knowledge of public (Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, etc.) and private (Besu, Canton, Corda, etc.) chains.
- Expertise with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL, and data‑pipeline architectures.
- Solid grasp of blockchain security, cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and attack vectors.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across product, infrastructure, and research teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (not explicitly required but preferred).
