Our proprietary AI architecture, combines neuroscience with teaching theory to create truly adaptive learning experiences. Unlike traditional one-size-fits-all approaches, our AI tutor learns and evolves with each student, adapting to their knowledge gaps in their curriculum delivering personalised education at scale. Job Description

**Job Title:** Junior Fullstack Engineer **Role Summary:** Support the development of Medly’s web (Next.js) and mobile (React Native) applications while contributing to the Python‑based backend. Collaborate with senior engineers and the CEO on high‑impact projects, delivering polished, user‑centric features that enhance student learning experiences. **Expectations:** - Develop, test, and ship code that meets quality standards. - Own complete task lifecycles, from requirement analysis to deployment. - Communicate progress clearly to product, design, and operations teams. - Rapidly learn and apply new technologies and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain core features for web and mobile products. - Write efficient Python code and improve API performance. - Design and query PostgreSQL schemas; optimize SQL queries. - Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, basic services). - Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers on feature design. - Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. **Required Skills:** - JavaScript (ES6+) with experience in Next.js; React/React Native knowledge is a plus. - Basic proficiency in Python and understanding of RESTful APIs. - Strong grasp of SQL and relational database design. - Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile workflows. - Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow coding standards. - Self‑motivated learner, eager to explore cloud services (AWS) and DevOps practices. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - No mandatory certifications required; relevant courses or bootcamp credits accepted.
