**Job Title** Associate Medical Writer **Role Summary** Support senior scientific staff to produce scientifically accurate medical communications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide decks, presentations). Manage own tasks and deadlines, research therapeutic areas, incorporate feedback, and track time against budgets. **Expectations** - Entry‑level medical writer with strong written communication skills. - Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to learn scientific storytelling and editorial standards quickly. - Proactive in managing timelines and coordinating with project stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft medical communication projects in line with client objectives and internal quality standards. - Fact‑check data, maintain grammatical accuracy, and ensure compliance with industry guidelines. - Review and incorporate internal and client feedback to improve content quality. - Keep client preferences up to date and inform the team of changes. - Manage own project schedule, ensuring on‑time delivery and clear communication with scientific and client‑services teams. - Research disease areas, competitors, and emerging data to support content development. - Record and submit accurate timesheets, tracking actual vs. budgeted effort. - Maintain proficiency in required software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe). - Stay informed on industry self‑regulation, client SOPs, and maintain best practices. **Required Skills** - Excellent written communication and scientific writing proficiency. - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Basic understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes. - Competent with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Excel. **Required Education & Certifications** - Life sciences degree (biology, chemistry, pharmacology, etc.). - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a life‑sciences discipline is preferred. ---
