Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer (All Levels) Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑based web applications and back‑end services. Make architectural decisions, build scalable, secure systems, and contribute to technology strategy for a regulated healthcare platform. Expectations: Proven experience (≥2 years) building and operating distributed cloud systems. Ability to lead technical components, manage event pipelines (e.g., Kinesis, Kafka), and ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST. Comfortable working remote‑first with hybrid office presence (≥3 days/week). Strong problem‑solving, communication, and mentorship skills. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement robust, scalable cloud services for high‑volume medical conversation data. - Evaluate and decide on commercial vs. open‑source solutions, influencing long‑term tech strategy. - Enhance existing systems for performance, stability, quality, and security; reduce technical debt. - Advocate high code‑quality standards and user‑centric design across cross‑functional teams. - Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure teams. Required Skills: - Proficient in TypeScript and modern web frameworks. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and designing distributed, event‑driven architectures. - Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance standards for healthcare (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST). - Familiarity with event streaming technologies (Kinesis, Kafka) and data pipelines. - Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills in a fast‑moving environment.
