Job Description
**Job Title** Application Support Specialist **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end production support for banking applications, ensuring continuous service delivery through proactive monitoring, incident resolution, deployment coordination, and SLA compliance. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed predefined SLA targets for incident response and resolution. - Maintain high application availability and optimal performance. - Deliver accurate incident documentation and post‑incident reports (PIR/RCA). - Provide timely KPI dashboards and metrics to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor application and infrastructure alerts via manual and automated processes. - Track support dashboards, user emails, and take corrective action per existing procedures. - Log, diagnose, and resolve production issues within SLA limits. - Escalate technical problems to specialized support teams for rapid resolution. - Execute technical deployments, upgrades, and migrations, managing vulnerability and obsolescence. - Coordinate major production releases and infrastructure change migrations. - Log, coordinate, and communicate high‑priority production incidents to all teams and stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle. - Participate in technical incident review calls with regional and global teams to achieve SLA objectives. - Record business impact of incidents and communicate findings to stakeholders. - Conduct data quality checks and support updates to incident records as required. - Assist in generating PIR/RCA documentation and enforce model and data quality standards. - Create and maintain KPI dashboards and reports from monthly data sources. **Required Skills** - 3‑5 years of production support experience (banking preferred). - Proficiency with Linux, Windows, middleware, and Oracle databases. - Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Geneos), ServiceNow, Autosys. - Understanding of ITIL practices; ITIL Foundation certification a plus. - Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, VBA) is advantageous. - Ability to build reports and dashboards using PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, or ServiceNow. - Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service‑management credential (preferred). - Vendor certifications for Linux, Windows, or Oracle databases are a plus.

Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end BI solutions, collaborate with project teams, support testing and UAT, maintain documentation, and continuously improve data models and visualizations. Key Responsibilities - Extract and transform data using Power Query from diverse sources, selecting appropriate storage and connectivity methods. - Profile, clean, and load data into Power BI, and build efficient data models with best‑practice relationships. - Create and optimize measures using M and DAX, tailoring solutions for performance and scalability. - Design intuitive, high‑performing reports and dashboards, applying advanced analytics and enabling data export where required. - Manage Power BI Service deployments: workspace configuration, dataset refresh schedules, and Row‑Level Security (RLS). - Connect reports to on‑premise data sources and troubleshoot connectivity issues. - Produce detailed documentation aligned with client standards and support system/UAT testing. - Participate in knowledge transfer and ad‑hoc assignments as project needs evolve.
