Conduct thorough visual inspections of overhead, single‑phase padmount, 3‑phase padmount, 3‑phase power padmount, and buried underground residential distribution transformers. 2. Inspect key components and surfaces: air compartments, tanks, doors, nameplates, stickers, labels, internal fault detectors, subcomponents, oil seals, welds, pressure relief valves. 3. Verify warranty periods on stickers (18 months for overhead, single‑phase padmount, BURD, and <500 kVA 3‑phase padmount; 3 years for ≥750 kVA 3‑phase padmount). 4. Open covers and doors of 1‑phase and padmount transformers to access internal areas for inspection. 5. Record cosmetic findings and defect details in a standardized tracking log. 6.
