Job Description
Job title: Staff Product Engineer Role Summary: Senior individual‑contributor focused on frontend development. Owns major user‑facing features, drives performance, usability, and rapid iteration. Works closely with design, product, and occasional backend teams to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code across web and mobile platforms. Expactations: - Deliver frequent, high‑impact releases; merge to production daily. - Own end‑to‑end feature lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, release, and iteration. - Maintain and elevate engineering quality through reviews, planning, and feedback. Key Responsibilities: • Build, optimize, and own user‑facing features in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind. • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate Figma designs into clean, maintainable code. • Contribute to backend services and APIs when required; work with PostgreSQL and RESTful interfaces. • Drive technical design, architecture decisions, and implementation for large‑scale features. • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups. • Monitor performance metrics and session replays to guide iterative improvements. Required Skills: - Proficiency in React and TypeScript. - Strong CSS knowledge, experience with Tailwind. - Full‑stack mindset: comfortable with frontend, backend logic, and APIs. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL (preferred). - Experience delivering production‑grade web and mobile applications. - Ability to prioritize high‑impact tasks and work independently. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and code‑review skills.
