Job Description

**Job Title:** Cybersecurity - Cloud Engineer – AWS, Kubernetes **Role Summary:** Lead the design, deployment, and operation of secure cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes. Drive migration of mission‑critical data to the cloud, develop cloud‑based tools, and maintain robust security controls within a high‑security environment. **Expactations:** - Current Top‑Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance, no sponsorship. - 14+ years of experience in comparable programs and contracts. - Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or 4 years additional software‑engineering experience). **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement scalable, compliant AWS cloud environments supporting data migration and tool development. - Manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker containerization, and container lifecycle across production. - Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python) for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and patching. - Enforce and audit security policies, ensuring adherence to Defense‑DoD requirements. - Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to integrate cloud services into existing application stacks. - Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization for cloud workloads. - Document cloud architecture, operational procedures, and standard operating procedures. **Required Skills:** - AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Terraform, ECS/EKS) - Kubernetes and container orchestration - Docker containerization - Python scripting for automation and integration - Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance (NIST, DoD, ISO 27001) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC - Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (or 4 years of comparable software‑engineering experience). - TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. - Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, CISSP, or equivalent.
