**Job title:** Telecommunication Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Manage large‑scale corporate mobile device onboarding and lifecycle, ensuring accurate provisioning, record keeping, and cost alignment across carrier, IT, and finance functions. Provide operational reporting, support continuous improvement, and deliver training to staff and end‑users.
**Expectations:**
- Execute onboarding of ~3,500 devices with strict accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve provisioning/activation issues swiftly to avoid user downtime.
- Implement process improvements to increase onboarding efficiency.
- Maintain up‑to‑date device and expense records.
- Report status, exceptions, and performance metrics regularly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Onboard corporate mobile devices, handling line activations, eSIM provisioning, assignment, and delivery coordination.
2. Maintain device and service data in ServiceNow, CIMPL, and other asset management platforms.
3. Coordinate with carriers and stakeholders to triage and resolve provisioning or activation problems.
4. Analyze workflows and recommend process changes to boost scalability and efficiency.
5. Produce operational reports on onboarding progress, order status, and exception handling.
6. Align cost centers, billing, and inventory with Finance and IT Asset Management.
7. Manage ongoing mobility requests – activations, upgrades, disconnects, number transfers – as onboarding milestones are achieved.
8. Provide training and support to operations staff and end‑users on mobility processes and device setup.
**Required Skills:**
- Hands‑on experience with carrier portals (AT&T, Bell, Rogers, Verizon, etc.) and eSIM provisioning.
- Proficiency with mobile device management tools (MaaS360, Intune).
- Experienced with IT service management platforms (ServiceNow) for request intake and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of telecom expense management (TEM) platforms (CIMPL) for cost reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of corporate mobile device lifecycle (activation, provisioning, assignment, reclamation).
- Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume provisioning orders accurately under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and collaborate across carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Diploma or degree in Networking, IT, Telecommunications or equivalent professional experience.
- 3‑5 years of experience in telecom/mobility provisioning or IT operations.
