Job Description

Job Title: Sports Specialist Role Summary Collect real‑time play‑by‑play data for college basketball games using an iPhone app. Record key actions (made shots, rebounds, fouls, etc.) throughout each game, ensuring accuracy and adherence to basketball rules. Expectations - Attend selected Division I games in Atlanta (additional Nebraska events with travel compensation). - Maintain focus for the entire duration of each game. - Deliver accurate data entry on a per‑game basis. - Comply with data submission deadlines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Capture live game statistics (shots, rebounds, fouls, turnovers, time‑outs, etc.) via proprietary iPhone application. 2. Verify and confirm data accuracy before submission. 3. Remain fully attentive for the full length of each game. 4. Coordinate reliable transportation to assigned venues. 5. Participate in screening and trial game as required. 6. Report any technical issues or data discrepancies promptly. Required Skills - Proficiency with iPhone 14 or newer. - Strong knowledge of basketball rules and game flow. - Fast, accurate data entry under live conditions. - Excellent focus, attention to detail, and time‑management. - Ability to travel to games and handle logistics independently. Required Education & Certifications - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). - No specific certifications required. - Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
