**Job Title**: DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**:
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud and containerized infrastructure for a global product. Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
**Expactations**:
- Deliver production‑ready pipelines and infrastructure within 30‑90 day KPIs.
- Maintain uptime ≥ 99.9 % and meet SLAs for critical services.
- Demonstrate measurable cost savings through resource optimization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or GCP; migrate workloads to serverless where appropriate.
- Develop IaC scripts (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and version‑control all infrastructure definitions.
- Deploy containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm; manage cluster scaling, networking, and storage.
- Monitor performance with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK; troubleshoot alerts, capacity issues, and bottlenecks.
- Enforce cloud security best practices: identity management, least‑privilege IAM roles, vulnerability scanning, and audit logging.
- Collaborate with SRE, QA, and product teams to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Optimize cloud spending through right‑sizing, autoscaling, and cost‑tagging.
- Document processes, create runbooks, and train developers on DevOps tooling.
**Required Skills**:
- 3+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
- Deep knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless services.
- Hands‑on IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong container and orchestration expertise (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Solid scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks: Prometheus/Grafana or ELK/Datadog.
- Linux system administration, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Ability to design scalable, high‑availability architectures and perform cost optimization.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and agile collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant cloud certifications preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Terraform Associate.
