Salesforce Technical Lead Consultant – W2 Only
**Role Summary**
Senior Salesforce developer with over a decade of experience leading multi-platform development teams. Responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying high‑quality Salesforce solutions on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, while guiding junior developers and driving technical excellence in a 3‑month contract‑to‑hire engagement.
**Expectations**
- Deliver robust, scalable Salesforce code and configuration that meets business requirements.
- Mentor and manage a small development team, ensuring timely resolution of defects and adherence to best practices.
- Actively contribute to DevOps processes, including deployments, CI/CD, and release management.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between architects, QA, and stakeholders for new features and platform enhancements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead end‑to‑end development of Salesforce components, writing clean, maintainable Apex, Lightning, and integration code.
- Design, execute, and document Proof‑of‑Concepts (PoCs) with architects to evaluate new Salesforce capabilities, integrations, and architectural patterns.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and defect triage in collaboration with Dev and QA teams.
- Provide technical direction during deployments, ensuring configuration stability and compliance with DevOps standards.
- Research emerging Salesforce features and document findings to support strategic platform decisions.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and REST/SOAP integration.
- 4+ years as a Technical Lead on multiple Salesforce projects.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices: version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functional capabilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I & II, and at least one Platform Architect certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or similar).
- Valid US work authorization (USC/GC/GC‑EAD) and willingness to work on a W2 basis.
