**Job Title:** Senior ServiceNow Developer – SPM, ITSM
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end development of ServiceNow applications focused on Service Portfolio Management (SPM) and IT Service Management (ITSM). Drive design, coding, testing, deployment, and support while collaborating with solution architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams.
**Expactations:**
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with comprehensive SPM/ITSM implementation background.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, deliver quality code, and meet schedules.
- Strong consulting mentality: clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Participate in requirement elicitation, technical design, and solution architecture discussions.
2. Develop and extend core SPM modules (Demand, Strategy & Goal, Capacity, Planning, Project) and ITSM modules (Incident, Request, Problem, Change).
3. Configure CMDB and enforce ITIL best practices.
4. Write GlideScript, JavaScript, and client‑side scripts; create tables, workflows, UI policies, and scripts.
5. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
6. Build dashboards, reports, and performance analytics using Performance Analytics and Reporting.
7. Apply AI capabilities to enhance automation, predictive analytics, and decision support.
8. Produce technical documentation, release notes, and provide training to end‑users.
9. Conduct peer code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot issues, including root‑cause analysis.
10. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage sprint backlogs, and deliver increments.
**Required Skills:**
- ServiceNow platform – full-cycle development, SPM & ITSM modules.
- JavaScript, GlideAPI, ServiceNow scripting (client, server).
- CMDB design and data model knowledge.
- REST & SOAP integration.
- Dashboards, Performance Analytics, and reporting.
- AI/ML on ServiceNow (e.g., predictive routing, virtual agents).
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Consulting mindset and stakeholder collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and at least one of:
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified ServiceNow Platform Developer V2 (optional)
- (Preferred) Certifications in ITIL foundation and/or ServiceNow ITSM or SPM.
