Salesforce Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead the architectural design and technical oversight of Salesforce Service Cloud implementations. Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, governance, scalability, security, and integration across all Service Cloud components, while mentoring development teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
**Expectations**
- Serve as the technical authority for Salesforce projects, enforcing best practices and architecture governance.
- Deliver high‑quality, performance‑optimized solutions that meet business goals and data security requirements.
- Manage cross‑functional collaboration, pre‑sales activities, and DevOps strategy.
- Provide mentorship and guidance on Apex, LWC, integrations, and performance tuning.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define end‑to‑end Service Cloud architecture (Case Management, Omni‑Channel, Knowledge Base, Live Agent, CTI, Email‑to‑Case).
- Design data models, security models, and sharing architectures.
- Specify integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, etc.
- Evaluate and recommend AppExchange and third‑party solutions.
- Produce solution blueprints, sequence diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Lead governance: code reviews, architecture assessments, governor limit compliance, security audits.
- Mentor developers, admins, and consultants on Apex, LWC, integration, and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, PMs, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Participate in RFP responses, solution estimation, and pre‑sales engagements.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Integration teams for seamless delivery.
- Oversee release planning, DevOps strategy, and CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Jenkins, Git, Gearset).
- Maintain architecture governance frameworks, design repositories, and documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Extensive Service Cloud experience: Omni‑Channel, CTI, Knowledge, Case Management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and integration architecture.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools (Copado, Jenkins, Git, Gearset).
- Experience with Agile delivery and global delivery models.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with analytical mindset, leadership, and detail orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across technical and business audiences.
- Familiarity with multi‑cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, SAP).
- Knowledge of FSL, Einstein Bots, Salesforce Industries, Agile at Scale (SAFe/LeSS) is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or actively pursuing CTA.
- Mandatory: Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect, Platform Developer I & II, Service Cloud Consultant.
