**Job Title**
Senior Application Architect – Ministry Experience
**Role Summary**
Design, govern, and evolve enterprise‑level application architectures for large‑scale ministry or government projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, architectural standards, security requirements, and cloud platform capabilities.
**Expectations**
- Own the end‑to‑end architecture lifecycle for major initiatives.
- Deliver clear, comprehensive architecture artefacts and maintain governance.
- Drive security, privacy, and risk‑mitigation throughout the project life‑cycle.
- Influence long‑term technology roadmaps and emerging technology evaluation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead design and planning of IT systems and overall enterprise architecture.
- Produce Solution Architecture Documents (SAD), Business Architecture Documents (BAD), Information Architecture Documents (IAD), and other key artefacts.
- Review and evaluate Requests for Bids (RFBs) and present findings to the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Support ongoing security reviews, penetration testing, and privacy assessments (PIA).
- Define reusable IT services, application structures, integration interfaces, and quality metrics.
- Monitor system performance, source‑code, middleware, and database interactions.
- Advise on policy, program development, and innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT leadership, project teams, business analysts, and stakeholders across the organization.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years of experience as a business and application architect in complex, multi‑project environments.
- Proven ability to deliver SAD, BAD, IAD and other architectural deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of public cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), especially Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Expertise in target‑state architecture principles, architectural frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with security and privacy assessment processes (TRI, PIA, PEN testing).
- Familiarity with multi‑platform technologies, research, development, implementation, and security.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Professional certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
