**Job Title:** Solutions Architect (Omni‑Commerce)
**Role Summary:**
Designs, documents, and validates end‑to‑end enterprise solution architectures for omni‑commerce platforms. Leads migration planning, builds reference implementations, and advises technology investments based on data‑driven analysis for large retail and wholesale organizations.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture (conceptual, logical, physical) for complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to deliver production‑ready reference implementations that enable agile delivery teams.
- Strong analytical mindset to evaluate cultural, financial, and technical impacts of technology decisions.
- Effective communication with cross‑functional stakeholders and guidance of technology roadmaps.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and maintain target and transition architectures for omni‑commerce ecosystems.
- Create migration strategies that bridge current state systems to future state solutions.
- Develop and deliver reference implementations for integration, data, and application layers.
- Conduct data‑driven assessments to guide technology investment decisions.
- Evaluate and recommend integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Confluent Kafka) and enterprise retail/wholesale systems (SAP, Blue Yonder, GK, Adobe, Opterus, Pega).
- Ensure alignment of architecture with merchandising, sales audit, finance, promotions, and CRM processes.
- Collaborate with agile development teams to translate architectural designs into actionable deliverables.
**Required Skills:**
- Solution architecture (conceptual → physical) for large‑scale enterprise systems.
- Hands‑on expertise with integration platforms: MuleSoft, Confluent Kafka.
- Deep knowledge of retail/wholesale platforms: SAP, Blue Yonder, GK, Adobe, Opterus, Pega.
- Understanding of retail domain functions: merchandising, sales audit, core financials, promotions, CRM.
- Migration planning and execution.
- Data‑driven decision making and impact analysis (financial, cultural).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or vendor‑specific such as MuleSoft Certified Architect).
- Professional certifications in cloud platforms or integration technologies are a plus.
