**Job Title:** Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and optimisation of high‑performance, secure B2C e‑commerce websites and mobile shopping apps. Collaborate with CRO, analytics, SEO, UX, and digital experience teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet UK regulatory standards and drive conversion.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 years of software development, 3 years as full‑stack engineer.
- Proven record building secure, transaction‑ready e‑commerce platforms.
- Strong ownership of performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Ability to work in Agile teams, contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and CI/CD pipelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain CRO experiments and personalisation (A/B testing).
- Implement SEO features and optimise site speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Build and sustain secure, high‑performance web & mobile apps using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, and hybrid frameworks (Cordova, Ionic).
- Enforce compliance with UK‑GDPR, PCI‑DSS and industry security best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical guidance to the product backlog.
- Monitor emerging e‑commerce technologies and recommend adoption.
**Required Skills:**
- Front‑end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS.
- Back‑end: ASP.NET/N ET, C# or Java.
- Mobile hybrid: Apache Cordova, Ionic.
- Digital marketing tech: Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target.
- Performance optimisation and web analytics.
- Security: CSRF, XSS, SQL injection mitigation.
- Agile & DevOps: Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications preferred: Microsoft MCSA/MCSA, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, or equivalent.
