Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Build, operate, and scale the data infrastructure that powers a cloud‑native SaaS security platform. Lead design of highly available, secure, and performant services in AWS and GCP, using Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and event‑driven pipelines.
Expectations: • 5+ years of Data Ops or DevOps experience in AWS/GCP.
• Proven ability to design, build, and troubleshoot large‑scale infrastructure.
• Self‑starter who collaborates across engineering, QA, customer support, and security teams.
• Comfortable with 24/7 production stewardship, including on‑call shifts.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain high‑availability data pipelines and services on AWS and GCP.
• Develop IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) to provision VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Kubernetes clusters, Vault, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and related components.
• Continuously improve service reliability, scalability, and performance through capacity planning, tuning, and monitoring.
• Work with InfoSec to remediate production security issues and enforce best practices.
• Automate deployments, rollouts, and rollbacks; integrate CI/CD pipelines with Dagster, Airflow, Kong, and Sentry.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, debugging complex production incidents.
Required Skills: • Deep knowledge of AWS and GCP core services, VPC, IAM, networking, and security.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Vault, and container runtime best practices.
• Proficiency with IaC tools – Terraform, Ansible, and Helm chart development.
• Experience with data streaming and storage solutions: Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra.
• Familiarity with modern data orchestration tools: Databricks, Dagster, Airflow.
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and automation mindset.
• Exposure to observability platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
