**Job Title:** Senior Cloud Developer
**Role Summary:** Lead the design, build, and maintenance of secure, high‑performance custom applications and underlying Azure infrastructure. Apply IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, and AI integration practices while ensuring compliance with governance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
**Expections:** Deliver production‑ready Azure solutions that meet security, scalability, and compliance standards. Collaborate closely with principal architects, core developers, and stakeholders to continuously improve architecture and infrastructure. Drive a culture of self‑critical assessment, proactive issue resolution, and cybersecurity awareness across global teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and support custom applications in Azure, ensuring secure, reliable, high‑performance deployments.
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure: VMs, VM images, VNets, subnets, private endpoints, and Azure Storage.
- Develop and deploy Python functions within Azure Functions Apps.
- Create, version‑control, and maintain IaC using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation in Azure DevOps.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and diagnostics with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Integrate AI‑related Azure services (e.g., OpenAI, LLMs) and shape integration strategies.
- Ensure adherence to SLDC, deployment controls, AI Governance, and legal/regulatory frameworks.
- Partner with principal architect and core dev team to extend and refine existing architecture.
- Produce well‑documented, maintainable infrastructure configurations and communicate implementation details to engineers and stakeholders.
- Investigate deployment issues, troubleshoot challenges, and propose scalable, secure solutions.
- Lead continuous assessment and improvement initiatives, identifying and addressing weaknesses in control plane, people, and technology.
- Engage global business functions to elevate cybersecurity awareness and evangelise cyber initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency with Azure services (VMs, VNets, Storage, Functions, Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Experience with IaC tools: ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform.
- Python development for Azure Functions.
- Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
- Integration of Azure AI services (OpenAI, LLMs).
- Understanding of governance, compliance, SLDC, and AI Governance principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and scalabble solutions mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication with cross‑functional teams.
- Awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals and the ability to influence global teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate) preferred.
- Additional certifications in IaC, AI, or cybersecurity are advantageous.
