**Job title:** Public Relations Intern **Role Summary:** A 16‑week hybrid internship (40 hrs/week) within a global tech‑focused PR agency. The role supports client campaigns across media, events, and digital platforms, providing research, coordination, and content creation for tech clients. **Expectations:** * Work Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. * Hybrid schedule: in‑office at least one “Anchor Day” per week, with additional in‑office days as business needs arise. * Deliver high‑quality outputs under tight deadlines; balance multiple priorities simultaneously. * Engage actively with multidisciplinary teams and global colleagues to achieve client objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct industry, competitor, and client research; distill insights for teams. * Maintain and update media, event, and awards databases. * Draft press releases, media lists, meeting notes, and client event decks. * Support media outreach and product‑launch campaigns (pitching, follow‑ups). * Assist with social‑media content and new‑business research. * Identify and propose editorial, speaking, and thought‑leadership opportunities. * Monitor AI, tech, and media trends; report actionable findings. * Participate in internal team meetings, company events, and client briefings. **Required Skills:** * Strong written and verbal communication; confident opinion‑sharing. * Exceptional organizational, time‑management, and prioritization abilities. * Detail‑oriented, with a focus on accuracy and consistency. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Slack, and media‑monitoring tools. * Ability to learn new technologies, platforms, and industry developments quickly. * Creative, proactive problem‑solving mindset. * Team‑player who collaborates effectively across functions. * Passion for continuous learning and professional growth. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Current undergraduate student (sophomore or higher) or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. * No specific certifications required, but familiarity with media‑tracking or PR software is a plus.
