Job Description
Job title: C++ Software Development Engineer (F/M) Role Summary: Develop, maintain, and optimize simulation software for space applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, high‑performance solutions. Expectations: - Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience. - Master’s level engineering degree in Computer Science or related field (Bac+5). - Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python, and the Qt framework. - Deep knowledge of object‑oriented design (polymorphism, SOLID, architectural patterns). - Experience with SVN and Git version control; comfortable in GNU/Linux environments. - Excellent technical English reading and writing skills. - Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset toward learning new technologies. - Effective time‑management and priority setting to meet deadlines. - Strong verbal and written communication; capable of collaborating independently or in teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain simulation software modules. - Participate in all SDLC phases: requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, unit & integration testing, and validation. - Analyze and improve performance of existing algorithms and codebases. - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure quality metrics are met. - Document technical specifications and user guidance. - Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to define deliverables and schedules.
