Job Description
**Job Title** Interim Global Director of IT (Operations & Supply Chain ERP) **Role Summary** Lead global IT operations, provide end‑to‑end ownership of the Enterprise Supply Chain ERP system, and manage a high‑performance IT team for a publicly traded consumer goods manufacturer. Deliver strategic direction, drive integrations, ensure compliance, and oversee a multimillion‑dollar budget during a 3–6 month interim engagement. **Expectations** - Assume executive leadership and decision‑making responsibility for global IT and ERP initiatives until a permanent hire is made. - Manage cross‑functional teams (project leads, analysts, developers, testers, and change managers). - Align IT strategy with business priorities, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Own and optimize the global ERP platform covering Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation, Logistics, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Analytics. 2. Oversee global IT operations: monitoring, ServiceNow management, core application uptime, user experience, and lifecycle management. 3. Lead IT infrastructure strategy, execution, and roadmap. 4. Develop and execute the IT strategy for Supply Chain and Operations with key stakeholders. 5. Drive technical integrations (ERP, operations, continuous monitoring) and portfolio strategy. 6. Mentor, coach, and train the IT team, linking value creation to business outcomes. 7. Manage application security, SOX compliance, PCI‑DSS, and other regulatory frameworks. 8. Administer a multimillion‑dollar OPEX/CAPEX budget and negotiate with vendors. 9. Promote process improvement, standardization, and innovation to reduce total cost of ownership. 10. Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycle: definition, planning, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, validation. 11. Execute global cyber security strategy and cloud/SAAS deployment plans. **Required Skills** - 10+ years of progressive IT leadership in manufacturing, retail, or CPG environments. - Proven experience with complex ERP delivery, optimization, and integrations (Sage, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis). - Strong IT operations, enterprise architecture, and system integration expertise. - Project management proficiency (PMP certified an asset). - Multi‑million‑dollar budget management. - Expertise in SOX, PCI‑DSS, GDPR, GMP, NIST, PII, and Azure cloud. - Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and consensus‑building abilities. - Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. - PMP certification (preferred). - Familiarity with enterprise security and regulatory frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI‑DSS, SOX).
