Marketing Consultant
**Role Summary**
Provide strategic and executional leadership for multi-channel advertising initiatives within a global financial services setting. Works closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to develop, manage, and deliver integrated campaigns that meet brand, creative, budget, and timeline objectives.
**Expectations**
- 6‑8 years of progressive marketing/advertising experience, preferably in an agency or client‑side environment.
- Proven track record of managing large‑scale creative and media campaigns, including broadcast and digital.
- Ability to lead and mentor at least one direct report.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
- Detail‑oriented, process‑focused yet adaptable to rapid changes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Head of Advertising in the full lifecycle of new campaigns (concept, creative direction, production of 2 × TV commercials, paid social assets, and integrated launch across organic social, website, internal channels, and PR).
- Serve as the primary liaison with agency partners from creative development through production, ensuring clear brief alignment and deliverable quality.
- Coordinate internal reviews, provide actionable feedback, and maintain stakeholder communication.
- Manage campaign timelines and flag/resolve bottlenecks to keep projects on schedule.
- Oversee production budgets; negotiate rates with cost consultants and agencies to maximize efficiency.
- Work with media teams to define channel, platform, specs, and delivery requirements; manage trafficking and final asset hand‑off.
- Support the Advertising Analyst by guiding project delivery and reporting.
- Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations that illustrate campaign narrative and results.
- Handle special projects and ad hoc assignments as requested.
**Required Skills**
- Deep understanding of advertising best practices, marketing principles, and creative production (pre‑production, production, post‑production).
- Experience creating broadcast creative for major brands.
- Expertise in paid and organic social media strategy, platform best practices, and user experience.
- Strong project management, budget control, and media coordination abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of presenting to leadership teams.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for storytelling and presentation development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- Preferred: additional marketing/advertising certifications (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, CME).
