**Job title:** Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:** Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructures for enterprise applications, leveraging automation, IaC, and DevOps practices to deliver high‑performance cloud solutions.
**Expactations:** Deliver robust cloud services, maintain operational stability, collaborate cross‑functionally in Agile settings, and uphold compliance, security, and cost‑efficiency standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, develop, and maintain AWS components (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance via CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and related tools.
- Drive automation to enhance deployment speed and operational efficiency.
- Enforce security, compliance, and IAM best practices across cloud environments.
- Support application teams with deployment, configuration, and debugging assistance.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborating with engineering, product, and security stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on AWS engineering experience.
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups).
- Proficient scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Expertise in IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Strong grasp of CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and identity management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps, or Developer (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
