**Job title**: Research Assistant
**Role Summary**: Support remote research projects by conducting literature reviews, collecting and managing data, performing basic analysis, and preparing documentation and reports to advance study objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and background research.
- Collect data via surveys, interviews, online databases, and field activities.
- Organize, verify, and maintain datasets, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in data cleaning, coding, and preparation for analysis.
- Perform basic statistical or thematic analysis and summarize findings.
- Create visualizations, charts, and tables for presentations and reports.
- Prepare research notes, annotated bibliographies, and drafts of papers or briefs.
- Manage proper citations, reference lists, and documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communications among project team.
- Track project timelines, tasks, and milestones.
- Prepare materials for workshops, interviews, and data collection sessions.
- Support submission processes for ethics reviews, grants, and publications.
**Required Skills**
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent writing, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with large volumes of information.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of research tools such as SPSS, R, Python, NVivo, or Excel is an asset.
- Basic understanding of statistical or qualitative analysis techniques.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Psychology, Business, Health Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline (completed or in progress).
- 0–2 years experience in research, data analysis, or academic projects (coursework, labs, or internships).
