Job Description
**Job Title:** Investment Operations Associate **Role Summary:** Entry‑level professional responsible for supporting daily trade operations and settlement activities across multiple asset classes and global markets. Focuses on accuracy, client service, risk awareness, and adherence to operational procedures. **Expectations:** - Maintain high attention to detail and meet strict deadlines. - Communicate professionally with internal teams, clients, and counterparties. - Identify, escalate, and document discrepancies or potential risks promptly. - Follow data privacy, information security, and business continuity policies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and reconcile trade economic details between clients and counterparties; flag discrepancies. - Coordinate securities settlement with custodians and counterparties across markets. - Monitor and assist in resolution of failed trades, cash movements, collateral settlements, and corporate actions. - Process daily trade and settlement activity using internal systems and third‑party platforms. - Manage high daily transaction volumes while adhering to operational procedures. - Update team procedures and documentation as needed. - Respond to client inquiries within defined service‑level expectations. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Proficiency with data‑driven systems and technology platforms. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment. - Organizational reliability and adherence to established processes. - Professionalism, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (preferred). - 0–2 years of experience in financial services, operations, or related internships. - No specific certifications required; understanding of securities and trade settlement concepts is a plus.
