Staff Engineer, SoC DevOps
**Role Summary**
Design, build, and optimize the end‑to‑end infrastructure and tooling that powers the design, verification, and manufacturing of system‑on‑chip (SoC) solutions. Drive automation, high‑performance CI/CD pipelines, and scalable compute environments to accelerate chip development cycles.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for full VLSI design flows using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and custom scripts.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Integrate and optimize EDA resources (e.g., LSF, modules, licensing servers) to support large‑scale simulation, synthesis, and layout tasks.
- Identify and eliminate design bottlenecks throughout the hardware lifecycle; provide actionable performance metrics and recommendations.
- Design scalable HPC and cloud‑integrated environments, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead best‑practice workshops, and contribute to the organization’s DevOps roadmap.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Tcl, Bash).
- Expertise in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and experience building pipelines for silicon design.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
- Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with EDA infrastructure (LSF, Modules, SQL, FlexLM).
- Experience applying AI/ML techniques to automate or enhance engineering workflows.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a collaborative mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications are a plus: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Terraform Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivering complex DevOps solutions in a semiconductor or high‑performance computing environment.
