Job Description
**Job Title:** Datacenter Manager / SysOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Manage and evolve a multi‑megawatt AI datacenter supporting thousands of AI accelerators. Oversee cluster build‑out, inventory, equipment RMAs, and DCIM systems while collaborating with engineers and architects to design, troubleshoot, and improve high‑performance computing environments. **Expectations:** - Operate and continuously improve large‑scale AI datacenter infrastructure. - Lead internal and external teams to ensure reliable, efficient operations. - Apply enterprise, HPC, and AI‑specific operational best practices. - Contribute to the creation of datacenter blueprints for customer deployments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement and modify cluster builds for AI accelerator fleets. - Manage hardware inventory, lifecycle, and RMA processes. - Administer DCIM tools and maintain accurate asset records. - Coordinate with engineering and architecture teams for design reviews and issue resolution. - Direct resources (vendors, contractors, internal staff) to meet operational targets. - Monitor power, cooling, and capacity to sustain multi‑megawatt workloads. - Develop and document operational procedures, runbooks, and SOPs. - Participate in capacity planning and scaling strategies for future deployments. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of datacenter operations, power & cooling management, and high‑density hardware. - Experience with DCIM platforms and asset management systems. - Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and scripting (Python, Bash). - Familiarity with networking, storage, and virtualization technologies. - Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage external vendors. - Problem‑solving mindset with strong troubleshooting skills for large‑scale clusters. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Server+, ITIL Foundation, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud certifications). - Eligibility to access U.S. export‑controlled technology per EAR regulations.
