**Job Title:** Director Consumer Insights
**Role Summary**
Lead high-performing team to deliver actionable, data-driven consumer insights using mixed method research, including advanced analytics (NLP, AI), behavioral data integration, and strategic storytelling to inform business decisions in home appliance and entertainment sectors.
**Expectations**
- 12+ years in market research or consumer insights, including leadership of high-impact teams and vendor relationships.
- Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience applying NLP, text analytics, sentiment analysis, and AI technologies to unstructured data.
- Fluency in advanced analytics tools (SPSS, R, Python) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong strategic thinking, executive communication, and influence across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and develop consumer insights team to drive innovation and agility.
- Design and execute research programs blending quantitative/qualitative methods and advanced analytics.
- Apply AI and NLP to analyze open-ended responses, social media, reviews, and customer interactions.
- Integrate multi-source data (surveys, CRM, behavioral) to map consumer journeys and inform business strategy.
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations for marketing, product, and customer experience teams.
- Develop segmentation models, customer personas, and predictive frameworks.
- Champion emerging technologies (predictive modeling, real-time analytics) to enhance research capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align insights with go-to-market strategies and innovation initiatives.
- Create standardized dashboards and KPI tracking systems to monitor market trends and segment shifts.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis, NLP, and AI-driven text analytics.
- Mastery of tools: SPSS, R, Python, Qualtrics, NVivo/NVivyo, Tableau/Power BI.
- Data storytelling and executive communication capabilities.

**Required Education & Certifications**
