Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineering Internship **Role Summary:** Structured 10–12 week summer internship for undergraduate students entering their senior year, focused on healthcare-related software engineering projects. Interns gain hands-on technical and leadership experience while contributing to business-critical initiatives. **Expectations:** Full-time (approx. 40 hrs/week) for 10+ weeks starting May 2026. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with graduation between December 2026 and June 2027. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate on software development projects using Kafka, Camunda, and other systems. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and documentation. - Develop, test, and integrate software enhancements in multiple programming languages. - Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and issue resolution. - Participate in stakeholder discovery sessions and solution testing. - Present project outcomes to leadership teams. - Support cross-functional team collaboration and delivery of project commitments. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in SQL, Java, C/C++, or C#. - Foundational coding/programming experience (coursework or personal projects). - Familiarity with Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. - Demonstrated leadership and initiative in academic or extracurricular activities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027. - Unrestricted work authorization in the U.S. (no sponsorship required). - Relevant technical coursework or projects in software development preferred.
