Job Title: Business Analyst Role Summary Analyze and document business needs within large IT projects, managing agile backlogs, capturing requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver functional solutions. Expectations • 3+ years of experience as a technical or business analyst in substantial projects. • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for user stories, backlog management, dashboards, and reporting. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with advanced data querying and reporting capabilities. Key Responsibilities 1. Elicit, capture, and document functional and non‑functional requirements through interviews, analysis, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and diagramming. 2. Manage and prioritize agile project backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder priorities. 3. Create and maintain dashboards, generate ADO reports, and track bugs to support the complete agile lifecycle. 4. Develop strategic and execution‑focused plans, partnering with leadership to align initiatives with business objectives. 5. Translate business requirements into clear, concise user stories that facilitate development and testing. 6. Provide recommendations for technical solutions and process improvements based on data analysis. 7. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Required Skills • Business requirements elicitation and documentation. • Agile project management (backlog prioritization, sprint planning). • Advanced data querying, reporting, and analysis (SQL, Power BI). • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). • Strong verbal and written communication. • Familiarity with banking or financial industry standards; knowledge of real estate lending/products and mortgage operations preferred. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile, or Scrum Master (CSM) is highly desirable.
