Job Description

**Job Title:** Palantir Engineer (Software Engineer) **Role Summary:** Design, build, and maintain Palantir Foundry pipelines, ontology models, and application-layer components for Edwards domain stakeholders. Deliver rapid prototypes and evolve them into production solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional technical and business teams on-site. **Expectations:** - Full‑time on‑site presence in Irvine, CA. - Ability to transition from contract to hire. - Strong communication and teamwork with domain experts and engineering pods. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain Foundry pipelines, ontology models, and application components. - Translate stakeholder requirements into deployable features. - Prototype solutions and scale them to production within short cycles. - Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and workflow orchestration. - Collaborate with cross‑functional technical and business partners. - Support BO‑M and BO‑T engineering pod structures. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years hands‑on Palantir Foundry experience (ontology modeling, Code/Object Workbook, pipeline design, application development). - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript/JavaScript (or similar). - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work on-site in Irvine and adapt to contract‑to‑hire arrangements. **Preferred Skills:** - Domain experience in clinical/medical device, smart manufacturing, yield improvement, or supply‑chain systems. - Experience with Databricks, Spark, MLflow, Airflow, or LLM integration. - Background in regulated or compliance‑heavy environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Python, cloud data platforms) are a plus.
