Job Title: Software Developer I Role Summary: Full‑stack developer building scalable, data‑driven web and mobile features with a focus on high performance, reliability, and user experience. Expectations: • 0–2 years of experience developing customer‑facing applications. • Hybrid schedule – on site Tuesdays & Wednesdays, remote other days. • Strong willingness to learn, share knowledge, and leverage AI code‑generation tools. • Deliver thorough, maintainable code that supports millions of concurrent users. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain UI components in React for web and mobile. • Develop and optimize backend services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate with PostgreSQL. • Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data flow. • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests. • Conduct code reviews, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous integration/deployment pipelines. • Iterate on UX/UI improvements to enhance usability and reduce complexity. • Employ AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development and prototype new features. • Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Required Skills: • JavaScript/React (including hooks, context, and component libraries). • Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate; relational database design with PostgreSQL. • RESTful API design and versioning. • Unit testing with Jest/JUnit and end‑to‑end testing tools. • CI/CD pipeline setup (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar). • Git version control; familiarity with branching and merge strategies. • Knowledge of AI code‑generation tools and best practices. • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
