Job Description
**Job Title:** Networking Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments. Manage identity and access controls, implement vulnerability scans, and maintain network security infrastructure while collaborating with IT teams. **Expactations:** - Minimum 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT operations. - Proficiency in network protocols, IAM, and threat management. - Experience with security tools and incident response processes. - Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Detect and investigate security incidents using Splunk, SolarWinds, and Cisco tools. - Administer IAM systems, MFA platforms (DUO, Microsoft Authenticator), and Active Directory/Azure AD. - Conduct vulnerability scans (Qualys) and remediate findings. - Monitor network traffic for anomalies and configure Cisco ThousandEyes. - Maintain cloud security policies via Cloudflare and Cisco Secure Access tools. - Document incidents and support security awareness training. **Required Skills:** - Security incident analysis and response. - Expertise in IAM, MFA, and NAC (Cisco ISE preferred). - Hands-on experience with Splunk, SolarWinds, Qualys, and Cisco security products. - Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira). - Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and network traffic analysis. **Required Education & Certifications:** - CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification. - Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra. - Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Cybersecurity or Information Technology. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is advantageous.
