**Job Title** Senior ServiceNow Application Developer **Role Summary** Serve as a senior technical contributor on the ServiceNow platform, designing, developing, and enhancing scoped applications. Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality solutions that align with enterprise standards. **Expectations** - 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including 2+ years building scoped applications in ServiceNow Studio. - Strong JavaScript proficiency and comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts). - Solid grasp of ServiceNow data and security models, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HR, or custom modules. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain custom scoped applications on ServiceNow. - Configure and customize modules via Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with stakeholders. - Ensure optimal performance, security, and maintainability following best practices. - Conduct unit testing, support UAT, and resolve defects. - Manage platform upgrades, patching, and regression testing. - Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide timely resolutions. - Produce and maintain technical documentation (design, configuration, and deployment). - Mentor junior developers; review code and participate in design discussions. **Required Skills** - Advanced JavaScript programming for ServiceNow. - ServiceNow Studio, scoped application development. - Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies. - Flow Designer and IntegrationHub familiarity. - REST/SOAP integration experience. - Analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities. - Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical groups. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results efficiently. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Preferred ServiceNow certifications: CSA (ServiceNow Certified System Administrator), CAD (Certified Application Developer), or CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) – Integration or related.
