**Job Title** Software Engineer – Total Rewards Platform **Role Summary** Build, scale, and maintain backend services, web and mobile front‑end applications, and AI/LLM‑powered workflows for an employee benefits platform. Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to deliver high‑quality features, drive innovation, and improve operational efficiency. **Expectations** * Deliver clean, well‑tested code and participate in rigorous code reviews. * Transform concepts into production‑ready solutions while managing ambiguity. * Continuously improve code quality, performance, and maintainability. * Bridge technical and non‑technical stakeholders, communicating clearly and pragmatically. * Lead or contribute to end‑to‑end AI/ML development, from model design to deployment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services (REST/GraphQL) using Java/Python/Ruby/Go/TypeScript. 2. Build responsive web UI components and mobile (iOS/Android/Web) applications in TypeScript/JavaScript. 3. Integrate and prototype LLM‑based agents and ML models into production workflows. 4. Maintain CI/CD pipelines; write unit/integration tests and ensure high test coverage. 5. Optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL/PostgreSQL for performance and reliability. 6. Implement data pipelines and analytics features that support business decision‑making. 7. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize features and define technical roadmaps. 8. Mentor junior engineers and foster an inclusive, high‑performance team culture. **Required Skills** * 1+ year experience in software engineering with large‑scale web application development. * Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Ruby, Go, TypeScript). * Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript back‑end frameworks (Express, Node.js, Nest.js). * Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices and automated testing. * Familiarity with relational databases – MySQL or PostgreSQL. * Knowledge of LLM/ML frameworks and rapid prototyping of AI applications. * Experience building or contributing to mobile and web front‑ends. * Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. * Passion for continuous learning, mentorship, and inclusive collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
