Job Title: Tech Lead Engineer
Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of AI‑agent platforms for underwriting, claims, and product recommendation. Architect production‑grade systems, build secure cloud infrastructure, and grow a high‑performing engineering team while delivering enterprise‑grade solutions for insurance clients.
Expectations: • 7+ years of software engineering with 3+ years in lead or senior roles. • Proven experience deploying and scaling AI/ML applications to production. • Strong background in DevOps/MLOps, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud (AWS) with emphasis on monitoring, logging, and cost management. • Familiarity with LLM APIs (GPT, Claude, etc.) and RAG architectures. • Experience managing or mentoring developers and driving on‑time, high‑quality delivery. • Native/near‑native English fluency; Spanish or French a plus. • Bachelor’s‑level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement the technical architecture for AI agent solutions (microservices, APIs, distributed systems). • Establish engineering best practices: code review, testing, documentation, and quality gates. • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS Lambda, ECS, S3, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions). • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging and optimize security, performance, and LLM usage costs. • Lead and grow the engineering team, hiring, mentoring and ensuring high‑performance delivery. • Partner with the Chief AI Officer on technical strategy, product roadmap and enterprise client engagement. • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client projects and escalations. • Contribute to product strategy, vision and talent acquisition initiatives.
