**Job Title**: DevSecOps Engineer (Azure DevOps / OpenShift)
**Role Summary**:
Lead and execute end‑to‑end DevSecOps practices for large enterprise health‑IT initiatives, driving automation, security, and compliance across Azure DevOps and Red Hat OpenShift environments. Act as a technical partner, mentor, and process enabler for development, operations, and security teams.
**Expactations**
- Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of DevSecOps tooling and pipelines.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant application delivery across multi‑cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish Azure DevOps standards: Wiki, work items, Git repos, pipelines, PR workflows.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Java, Tomcat, JBoss, SQL, Oracle, Linux, Windows.
- Architect and maintain OpenShift v4 deployments: BuildConfigs, DeploymentConfigs, CRDs, StatefulSets, Helm charts.
- Create and manage Docker images, S2I pipelines, and Quay repositories.
- Administer Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Beats for log ingestion and monitoring.
- Integrate SonarQube, Coverity, Black Duck for security scanning and quality gates.
- Automate processes using Bash, ksh, Python, Java debugging and scripting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy, upgrade, secure, and maintain applications.
- Document processes, automation standards, and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- 8+ years Kubernetes/OpenShift engineering.
- 8+ years Linux shell scripting (bash, ksh).
- 5+ years containerization management experience.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (work items, Git, pipelines).
- Deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift v4, CI/CD automation, and Elastic Stack.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, S2I, SonarQube, Coverity, Black Duck.
- Solid scripting skills: Python, Bash, Shell.
- Networking fundamentals (SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, LDAP).
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and mentoring abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Red Hat Certified System Administrator/Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
