Job Description
**Job Title:** Amazon Connect Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Amazon Connect contact‑center solutions on AWS. Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform, develop integrations in Python/Java, and build CI/CD pipelines. Deliver end‑to‑end voice and data services with a banking‑domain focus, ensuring compliance with security and call‑recording regulations. **Expectations:** - Minimum 6‑12 months of hands‑on AWS experience. - Proven track record in contact‑center or telephony development. - In‑depth knowledge of banking or regulated‑industry standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and deploy Amazon Connect environments (IAM, Lex, Lambda, KMS, S3, Kinesis). - Create IaC scripts (Terraform) for auto‑provisioning of cloud resources. - Build, test, and deploy Python/Java applications and RESTful APIs. - Design and manage Jenkins/Jules CI/CD workflows and Git/Bitbucket repositories. - Prototype PoC solutions and scale them to production. - Configure container orchestration for AWS deployments. - Apply best practices in data security, compliance, and call‑recording. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, resilient voice solutions. - Continuously improve automation, infrastructure, and data‑fluency practices. **Required Skills:** - AWS services: Connect, IAM, Lex, Lambda, KMS, S3, Kinesis, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch. - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform. - Programming: Python or Java; RESTful API development. - CI/CD tools: Jenkins or equivalent; Git or Bitbucket. - Containerization and orchestration in AWS (ECS/EKS). - Sound understanding of banking/financial data security and compliance. - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred). - Additional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Amazon Connect Specialist) are a plus.
